Bond Parody Night on Sunday

In response to the ultra-hyped, super big budget, slick new James Bond film, the feature will be For Your Height Only, a 1979 wacky, trashy spy spoof from the Philippines. Secret Agent 00 is played by Weng Weng, the lethal three foot tall kung fu star in a white disco suit! The bad guys better watch their groins. He can really jump kick! He proves to the ladies that size doesn't matter. Agent 00 breaks bones without breaking a sweat with many spy gadgets (boomerang hat, x-ray glasses, mini jet-pack, etc.). It all leads him to the inevitable showdown with the ruthless and mysterious Mr. Giant! Will the earth be saved from the world's most destructive bomb? Sublime stuff!

During dinner, film archivist, Steven Mayerson will show assorted and sordid short subjects and cartoons.

Stay tuned for the lucky 14th chapter of the 1941 serial, Jungle Girl! What trouble will that hot gal get into next! See terrific vine-swinging, cliff-diving, croc-wrestling, dorky gorillas, and of course, an evil witch doctor! Also on view will be some extremely rare early TV shows.
