December
19, 2004
| The
night of Fast Food Cinema includes original McDonalds
commercials from the 70s; the golden age of
the McDonaldland characters in all their eye-popping
glory. Next is the opening sequence to the 70s kid
show H.R. Pufnstuf which was used in federal
court to prove McDonalds stole their characters
from Sid & Marty Krofft. Then the stupid song
and dance number with Ronald inside a McDonalds
from the terrible ET ripoff film Mac & Me.
And
finally the 1985 feature The Stuff about
a delicious and very addictive fast food treat that
makes people’s heads explode. The film’s
tagline was: "Are you eating it or is it
eating you?”

Also

then!
