The
Beach Girls and
The Monster
THE BAD FILM SOCIETY THROWS A SICK SUMMER BEACH
PARTY!
The Bad Film Society will hold their hot summer
beach party down in the
dank, sunless Ashland Elks Dungeon -- of all places!
The feature will be the 1965 ultra cheap "laff
riot" The Beach Girls and The Monster. Famous
'40s movie hero Jon Hall (Ramar of the Jungle)
directed himself in this piece of trash. It was
his last film. He later committed suicide.
A pointy-headed,
bulgy-eyed monster covered in seaweed is killing
hot bikini-clad teen surf babes!
Highlights include
dance sequences by the Watusi Girls from the Whiskey
A Go-Go nightclub, a silly lion puppet singing
along with the beach girls and a scorching soundtrack
composed by Frank Sinatra Jr!
Lots of bongos! Get
ready to cringe!
The evening will begin with some daffy and unusual
shorts sure to
please and bewilder one and all.

Also stay tuned for the 10th episode of the serial
The Lost Planet
from 1953!
On the par with an Ed
Wood movie, it’s considered the worst serial
ever made with
unintentionally hilarious dialogue like "How
are we going to find it,
it's the Lost Planet." It was the last sci-fi
serial ever made…for good
reason. |
