The
Mole People
The
Bad Film Society digs deep down into the center
of the earth!
The feature will be the super cheesy, but great
1956 Universal sci-fi/horror film, The Mole People.
Archaeologists John Agar and Hugh Beaumont (Ward
Cleaver!) stumble upon a tyrannical race of Sumerian
albinos living deep under the Earth who have enslaved
mutant humanoid mole men to harvest mushrooms,
their primary food source. In order to survive,
the albinos sacrifice beautiful women to enforce
population control…until the archaeologists
get together with some of these hot babes! It’s
the best underground-civilization fantasy movie
ever. Don’t forget your flashlight! It’s
the only way to protect yourself against The Mole
People.
Film archivist Steven Mayerson is digging especially
deep down in his collection to astound the masses
with more shorts to make you cringe.
Also
stay tuned the fifth chapter of the serial, Tiger
Woman from 1944. Evil oil speculators in South
America attempt to drive away an exotic native
tribe and their hot queen, the Tiger Woman…but
she’s a white woman and might be the lost
heiress to a vast fortune! Actually The Tiger Woman
wore a leopard-spotted outfit because the studio
couldn't find any tiger patterned fabric! It’s
a howler!
Members should bring some great food for a scrumptious
potluck dinner
before the feature. Some bottom feeders just come
for the great food! It
sure beats dumpster diving! |
