Shakes the Clown
What Martin Scorsese calls “The Citizen Kane of Alcoholic Clown Movies.” Clowns are everywhere (especially drinking in bars), but they hate mimes, and tough rodeo clowns beat up other clowns. Florence Henderson plays a drunken clown groupie.
Members should contribute some food for the potluck dinner before the
feature. Some bottom feeders just come for the great food! 
It
sure beats dumpster diving! A registered nurse will be in attendance
in case anyone should need assistance. All that is required to become
a member is to come to a film showing and make a donation.
Before the feature, we'll see the final slam-bang chapter of the campy serial, The Lost City and the beginning of the cheesy serial, BATMAN from 1943. It’s the first filmed appearance of Batman and the inspiration for the 60s TV show.
