Fourth of July Parade Entry
2011
They said it couldn't (or shouldn't) be done ... but we did it! We revived/resuscitated our wonderful flying saucer thanks to Bernard Stoffel's VW bug (and his willingness to let us decorate it) and Ben Truwe's and Chris VanSchaack's memory of how to do it. We also needed aliens, and several staunch members of the Bad Film Society stepped up and "marched" in the parade with the saucer - Steven, Tiffany, Avalon, Chris, Barb, and of course our Fearless Leader ... Ed. This year we actually won 2nd Place in the nonprofit category. Thanks to Pam Marsh and Diarmuid McGuire of the Green Springs Inn and Cabins, who said we "had to" bring our parade entry out of mothballs.

2007
Altho the Bad Film Society did not win any official award at the parade this year, we believe we won the unofficial People's Choice Award since so many people told us we were the best thing in the parade.

wowed a Standing Room Only crowd with their flying
saucer/rocket ship/brain oozing VW bug, brain
sucking devices, refurbished dialysis machine,
and official Sucking Brains Dry CD.
